Sales is the lifeblood of our business at Mainfreight and we are looking for energetic, enthusiastic team members to join our Sales Team. We are looking for an enthusiastic team member with a hunger for Sales to join our growing Sales team as a External Sales Representative. Our strategy is simple, we want to be the best global supply chain provider and we want the right person to join our journey and contribute to our story. The Role
As an Outside Sales Representative you are responsible for the commercial development of ocean freight services in the Netherlands. You focus specifically on new business development by means of a structured sales plan and clear objectives. As Outside Sales Representative you will create added value for future customers by actively sharing your substantive knowledge of ocean freight and chain optimisation and offering innovative solutions and insights. You will use the Mainfreight Business Solutions in combination with the international Mainfreight network.As an Outside Sales Representative you will maintain contacts with overseas offices to exchange sales leads and ensure accurate follow-up. You will also generate sales leads which you will share with the Mainfreight teams in the USA, Asia, Australia and New Zealand.
As an Outside Sales Representative you will be responsible for the development of requests, quotes, visits and timely reporting within the CRM system.
