At Mainfreight, our company is built on three pillars: Culture, Family, and Philosophy. Giving back to our community and making a difference is deeply ingrained in who we are. That’s why we’re proud to partner with Christmas Box Australia for the fourth consecutive year. This initiative captures the true spirit of Christmas, aligning with our values by bringing food and joy to families in need across Australia.

This year marks a special milestone—the 10th anniversary of Christmas Box Australia. Since its humble beginnings in 2013, the initiative has grown significantly and we’re honoured to contribute to its success. In 2024, we’ll help distribute 15,000 Christmas Boxes, reaching over 75,000 Australians in Adelaide, Melbourne, Geelong, Bairnsdale, and Brisbane.

Each box is thoughtfully packed with quality goods, including breakfast, lunch, dinner, and festive treats for a family of 4-6. More than just a box of food, it’s a message of care and compassion during the holiday season.

Starting in May, the dedicated Christmas Box team works tirelessly to source products from companies across Australia. While our role is small, it’s a vital part of ensuring these goods reach the families who need them most, right on time.

As we celebrate the achievements of 2024, we’re already looking ahead to what we can accomplish together next year. To everyone who makes Christmas Box possible—volunteers, the Christmas Box team, and our own Mainfreight family—thank you for sharing the gift of giving. Together, we’re delivering more than just boxes; we’re delivering hope, kindness, and the promise of a brighter Christmas for thousands of Australians.
