International Women’s Day 2023
Every year, on the 8th of March, the world celebrates International Women's Day (IWD), which serves as a focal point in the women's rights movement and draws attention to issues such as gender equality, reproductive rights, and violence and abuse against women.Worldwide, International Women's Day is celebrated in a variety of ways. In some countries, it is a public holiday, while in others, it is celebrated socially or locally to honor women's accomplishments.
International Women’s Day at Mainfreight
At Mainfreight, we understand the importance of International Women’s Day. That is why we celebrated this special day at our branches across the globe. With the theme of this year’s edition being #EmbraceEquity., we wanted to shine (extra) light on all the strong, intelligent, talented and simply wonderful women who are paving the way in our branches across our regions worldwide. We were so happy to see all the lovely pictures and celebrations on this day. At Mainfreight we want to keep this day as an opportunity to recognise the process towards gender equality and rally for further action.
