HR Driver & Operations Team Member - Mainfreight Transport, Bunbury

ABOUT THE ROLE

The role is a great diverse role allowing you to learn all the aspects of our business whilst giving you the chance to be hands on primarily as a company driver. At Mainfreight, we recognise performance and provide on the job training to ensure growth.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Carrying out local (LCL and FTL) deliveries to various South West regions
• Occasional delivery runs to Perth & surrounds
• Unloading and loading of delivery trucks
• Maintaining presentation of delivery truck
• Checking received freight in and out of the depot
• General Housekeeping
• Adhering to current WHS & Chain of Responsibility practices
• Compliance
• General admin duties relating to delivery and receipt of freight
• Promote the Mainfreight brand and aid in generating leads for the sales team

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

• Current HR License (essential)
• An understanding of WHS and compliancy
• Forklift licence (desirable but not essential, training can be provided to right applicant)
• Ability to use computer programs such as MS Office and willingness to learn Mainfreight systems
• Has a proactive outlook and desire to grow with the branch responsibilities
• A willingness to upskill and go above and beyond when required
• Exceptional people skills
