Yard Tug Operator - Mainfreight Transport, Epping

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for someone who is not afraid to get their hands dirty and bring a positive attitude to work. Working in a fast-paced environment, you will play a key role in the day-to-day operations of the organisation. You will be responsible for the organisation of trailers and local trucks for the depot and will be experienced at both reversing and coupling and uncoupling of trailers.  This is a great position for a driver who would like to increase their experience reversing into docks. Your work will directly impact the efficiency of the entire Team and you need to be a Team player.

Forklift experience is desirable but not compulsory. Ongoing training will be provided. Standard hours are from 14:00pm – 23:30pm Monday to Friday. Flexibility for overtime is required. 

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Towing trailers/PUD’s in and out of the depot
• Operating forklift when required
• General housekeeping duties

• Ability to make educated decisions in a fast-paced environment
