Sales Cadet - Mainfreight Transport, Toowoomba

Building on the wonderful success of our Toowoomba branch, we are looking at growing our sales team in the Garden city. This role is for someone looking to enter our business, learn what we do and progress into a customer facing new business sales role. During the cadetship, the successful applicant will work closely with our existing sales team in Toowoomba and across Queensland.

The right person will have a strong internal drive to succeed, showing initiative and a desire to develop their knowledge. Being a team player is paramount!

ABOUT THE ROLE

This role will be based in our Toowoomba branch. The role will focus on local, regional and interstate road transport, in conjunction with growing our global supply chain network and capabilities. 

• Constant hands on, structured and supported training
• Learning functions and systems that make national transport effective while maintaining efficiency
• Exposure to our wider supply chain capabilities, including warehousing, international forwarding and wharf cartage
• Attendance at internal and external sales skills training sessions

Your attributes / past experience might include:

• Working in an internal / external sales role previously (not essential) 
• Willingness to learn about our global supply-chain capabilties
• Good organisational / time management skills and attention to detail
• A passion for customer service excellence
• Strong sense of emotional intelligence
• Excellent problem solving skills
• Immaculate presentation

Applicants must demonstrate drive and a ‘can do’ attitude. This role reports directly to the Branch Manager of Toowoomba and works very closely with Queensland’s regional sales manager.
