Ocean Import Export Operations

Air & Ocean | Verona, Italy

We are looking for an experienced Ocean Export operator with minimum of 2 years experience in this role to build our new team in Mainfreight Verona.
The ideal candidate is someone dynamic and enthusiastic with “can do” attitude.

This position will give you the opportunity to be the intermediary between our customers and our service providers, you will be responsible for the entire import and export ocean process, you will have direct contact with our customers, service providers, shipping lines and overseas offices.

About the role:

Verona is a new and small reality, with great foreseeable growth.
In this role, you will be handling export and import shipments, as well as delivery outstanding customer service to our customers. Although previous experience is preferable, this is not mandatory.

Who we are looking for:

We are looking for an enthusiastic and dynamic ocean operator, eager to grow professionally and to challenge oneself to better each day. Previous experience is preferable, but not mandatory. Italian language will be essential to fulfil the position but not a binding to apply.

What is the working culture like?

We are a very flat structured organisation. We have open plan offices and management sit in amongst the team. We do not use the “s” word (staff) and refer to everyone as Team – everyone has a part to play in moving Mainfreight forward and meeting our targets and goals.
