Job Description:
As a Data Engineer, you will collaborate closely with our teams to develop new data loads for our Data Warehouse and Data Intelligence products and contribute to its global development. You will support the European team with data-related questions, run data loads, and ensure that European objectives are met. Additionally, you will contribute to the overall Data Program and ensure that our work aligns with architectural standards.
Key Responsibilities:

Develop new features for the Data Warehouse and Data Intelligence products under the guidance of the product owner.

Understand the European data landscape and know where and how to source data.

Support data requests and investigations for the European team.

Understand reporting requirements and translate them into user stories for data feeds.

Support the Data Warehouse and Data Intelligence products and data loads within the European time zones.
What You’ll Bring:
Technical:
-
Strong knowledge of SQL is essential.
-
Experience with Dimensional modeling, Kimball Design, and Data Vault design is an advantage.

Experience with architecture, design, and implementation of end-to-end data pipelines in Azure is beneficial.

Hands-on experience with large-scale implementation of Microsoft Analytics solutions (preferably using Azure Synapse Analytics).

Practical understanding of the various data ingestion options for cloud and on-premises or external data sources.

Experience in implementing DevOps/DataOps solutions is advantageous.

Experience with implementing Power BI solutions is helpful, but being a report design expert is not required.
Soft Skills:
- Understanding of scrum practices and the ability to work effectively in a globally distributed team.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to learn new information quickly.
- Excellent communication, documentation, and relationship management skills.
- Strong time management and coordination skills with an understanding of priorities.
