Jensce Tan's Leadership Journey in Mainfreight

“Great things never come from your comfort zone.”

In 2023, Jensce was given a growth opportunity that require her to step out from her comfort zone and assume the position as Air Freight Branch Manager in Malaysia. Although embracing change can be quite challenging, she firmly believes that it often leads to personal and professional development. It’s important to keep in mind that continuous learning and adaptability are essential for thriving in new roles. 

Jensce’s journey at Mainfreight began in early 2019 as a Business Development Manager. Over time, she progressed to the role of Sales Manager within two years. A new opportunity seized, more knowledge gained, and more valuable experiences added, all of which are contributing to her continuous career path in Mainfreight. Despite her relatively recent switch to Branch Manager role, Jensce actively seeks chances to learn from peers around. This role doesn’t about where you can dip your toes into the experience; it really is a plunge into the deep end and you get to understand better about our philosophy on "Ready, Fire, Aim".

As she reflects the experience with the Mainfreight team thus far, she would like to highlight what truly makes her work here enjoyable. The supportive and collaborative culture in Mainfreight foster a sense of teamwork among colleagues, creating a great feel of being part of the blue family.
